generally considered an offense against public order
and decency.
A person is guilty of

In other states,
public drunkenness laws
also include
that
no person be intoxicated or drink
any alcoholic beverage in a public place or in or upon any
public conveyance and cause a public disturbance.
When a person is
younger than 18 years old and is found by the court to have
violated this section in some states their driver's license
